The module introduces the comprehension and skills in basic technical drawings . The module will be taught in the form of by lectures, tutorials and class discussion. No presentations included as the assignments are mostly individual work.

  Students will be required to do a few projects which includes observational skills, data compilation and technical drawing skills. Methods and ways to draw a standard technical drawing will be taught by lecturers.

  Students are also able to recognize and identify the different methods of drawing through this module. Students will be given chances to explore the basic drawings such as fruit sketching, furniture drawing using scale ruler, technical drawing of space and building. Through all the projects given, students will be able to analyze and evaluate the different development of the drawing. Understanding how to communicate ideas through observation and using different types of pen and paper to present information and drawing is also one of the skills that students will pick up through all the projects.

  To sum up, this is a module that will let students understand all about the drawing of a space and building including plan view, front view, elevation view, section view and sectional elevation view. Therefore, it should be taken seriously as everything learn from this module is essential for all the projects in the future during degree.
