The objectives of this project was:

- to extend knowledge of the built environment as its basic unit, form and function.

- to understand the interrelation between built environment and its user.

- to question, analyze and articulate the impact by the built environment.

On successful completion of this project, students will be able to demonstrate the following:

- to identity and to describe the elements of built environment

- to analyze the function of the elements in built environment in the city setting.

- to initiate ideas on built environment through observation, data collection, evaluation and deliver them by using different media/techniques.

Project Brief

From the lecture and discussion on built environment, individually, students were required to recall ,study and to visually revisit their hometown to visualize the environment , built components, social and culture through tangible and intangible components.First,students need study the background and the history of the township

Secondly,need to zoom in to selected areas of the township and elaborate the built components in detail.Thirdly,students need to identify favourite part of the area and to discuss about the tangible and intangible elements.As a conclusion,describe and visualise the improvements that can be made in the township and justify why.
